“The Bodyguard” UK and Europe Tour Announced

The producers of the award-winning “The Bodyguard” are “delighted” to announce a UK and Europe tour after previous success in both touring shows and West End.

Based on the Oscar-nominated film of the same name, “The Bodyguard” follows Frank Farmer (who is—you guessed it—a bodyguard) as he falls in love with his client, global superstar Rachel Marron. The film features old-time classics, including “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” “I Have Nothing,” and “I Will Always Love You.”

Opening night is at Birmingham’s Alexander Theatre on Saturday, 20 September 2025 before continuing in Blackpool, Oxford, Aberdeen, Milton Keynes and Zurich, with further dates to be announced.

I’m based just outside of Nottinghamshire, where I frequently indulge in touring plays and musicals at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal and Concert Hall alongside my friends and family. I also try and see the odd West End and Off-West End shows when I get the chance!
